Opinion - Dear Chairman Yanks Darboe,

I am writing this message to express my deep admiration and gratitude for your outstanding leadership qualities, as demonstrated by your recent actions within the Brikama Area Council (BAC). Your dedication to exposing and addressing corruption is truly praiseworthy, and it sets a valuable example that the Gambian government should take to heart.


Your resolute commitment to uncovering corruption emphasizes that the state should not shield corrupt individuals, regardless of their status or influence. It is imperative to expel such individuals from the system and allow capable and honest individuals to take their place. This approach is vital for the growth and prosperity of any institution in The Gambia, including the Brikama Area Council.
